Transferring files between computers [scsi hd] [hd drive]

Q: I have a Compaq 1995 with drive and a new 2.53 and WIN 95 Compaq Presario with XP Home Edition. I have about 100 MS Word documents that I want from my old computer over to the new. The old computer has no USB ports or CD-R or a Zip drive. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance
Re:You can also set up a primitive network using serial cables and transfer that way!

Could you guys elaborate about what I do after I get the NIC up and have the cable. Is there something in XP ? Do I have to set up a network????

Re:Why not just use a floppy disk for this? For only about 100 MS word docs, it wouldn't require very many disks unless you've got some very large word docs. If the new computer does not have a floppy drive, copy your word docs to floppy disks, remove the floppy drive from your old computer and install it in the new one, at least temporarily, to get your files transferred. Or, buy a floppy drive for the new comp. You can get them for about $10, I believe.

Re:Yeah, I would pick up a cheap Ethernet card and a crossover cable and use that. Inexpensive and fast solution.
